WHOOPSI DAISY - LACE AND RIBBON

Hello everyone and hope you had a nice MEMORIAL DAY if you celebrate it. I am sorry I have not been around much - besides for both my boys playing in a soccer tournament all weekend, and a neice and a nephew graduating, life has thrown me a bit of a curve ball. Late Sat., I wound up inadvertantly deleting over 2 YEARS worth of pictures from my camera/memory stick. I lost all my pictures from our 2 Disney vacations and many others that I am still sick about 2-3 days later. Anyway, that is why I have been a bit absent.
Heading on to brighter topics, I will be announcing my CANDY WINNERS tomorrow. There are still several peoples' candies from the last set that I have not had time to send yet, but you can ask anyone who wins my candy, you will ALWAYS receive it (sooner or later).

We have a NEW CHALLENGE going on at WHOOPSI DAISY CHALLENGE and our theme this time is LACE AND RIBBON.  Also, this challenge will last for 2 weeks as the DT are taking a short holiday and will be back the following week.  So, you have until Sunday, June 12 at 1pm EST to get your entries posted at WHOOPSI DAISY CHALLENGE BLOG.

You do not have to use a WHOOPSI DAISY image to play in our challenges, but we'd sure LOVE to see one.  All of Linnie's GORGEOUS images can be found at WHOOPSI DAISY SHOP and there's a number of FABULOUS NEW sheets and an ADORABLE FREEBIE there for you as well, so go check it out!!

Here is my card.  I am thrilled how it turned out.  I colored my WHOOPSI DAISY image from Sheet #244 with Copics and cut out with Lifestyle Crafts die.  DP from Basic Grey and Fancy Pants Designs, lace from JoAnn, ribbon from my stash, ribbon cut die from Marianne's Dies.  Nellies die used to cut out sentiment from MFT clear and bling is My Mind's Eye.

JUST SOME LINES CUTE KITTEN

Happy Wednesday to all!  Today is my DT posting day at JUST SOME LINES BLOG and I am showing off one of Just Some Lines FABBY cat images - this one is called "Little Kitten 2" and can be found in the JUST SOME LINES SHOP under "animals." As many of you know, I can never seem to color cats just one color - I usually give them spots, but this time I decided to make all different colors of fur. It was fun and I am happy how it turned out. I hope you like it as well. Please let me know:)
JUST SOME LINES image is colored with Copics, cut with Lifestyle Crafts dies and mounted on Basic Grey DP. Cardstock is from SU and Bazzill, pleated ribbon is from JoAnn. Flowers are from Prima. I also used a Cuttlebug EF on the green piece (hard to see) and the orange DP is K and Co. I hope that you like it and will stop by Just Some Lines shop to check out Jehanne's AMAZING images:) Don't forget also 35 % off in the JUST SOME LINES SHOP thru tomorrow, May 12!! Hugs and Happy Wednesday!!

STARRY NIGHT WITH SOFTPENCIL!!

Since I was gone all weekend and didn't have any of my trusty crafting supplies, I spent the parts of the weekend when I wasn't watching soccer looking through crafting magazines.   I feel like I really learned a lot of stuff about blending and other fun techniques.  I also realized that I hadn't done much in the way of anything but a card type projects lately and decided SOFTPENCIL STUDIOS NEW IMAGE "Starry Night" would make the perfect ornament or something you could hang on your wall or door, so - VOILA!

I found this awesome sentiment from MY FAVORITE THINGS clear stamps that goes so perfectly with this image!!

Just a reminder that SOFTPENCIL and Elizabeth, the owner, creator and illustrator behind SOFTPENCIL and Tiny Twinies, are celebrating our 3RD ANNIVERSARY this month, so stay tuned for more details on that.  There will be lots of fun stuff going on.

Additionally, select SOFTPENCIL images will be available in RUBBER STAMP form through an EXCLUSIVE licensing arrangement with SOFTPENCIL and THE ANGEL CO. beginning in June!!  This is so exciting, it has always been Elizabeth's dream to have her images available in rubber and now it's coming true!!  YAY ELIZABETH, we are all SOOO EXCITED for you:)

Please check out SOFTPENCIL STUDIOS and SOFTPENCIL BLOG for more updates.
